Keith: I lost my father about 9 years ago, and it felt bad. Then I lost also my mother a few months ago, and it still is a horrible loss. I keep on thinking at times that I should call Mother, but then realize....

Frank, I really like the second picture of your Dad without the glasses the best.
Nikki has show and tell every Friday. For Veteran's Day, the kids were asked to bring in something from a family member that served. I let Nikki bring in a copy of a picture of my Dad with his B-29 from WW-II and one in his Sherman Tank in Korea. I found ONE shot where the Nose-Art had full-clothing.

Great pics both Frank & Keith. I lost my dad to cancer when I was 16 and wear a yellow band most days. Hardly a day goes by when I don't think of him. As Raid says, enjoy what you have.

I have been really forgetting to take pictures of my family. They really run from me when I have the camera, but I'll try harder. Frank is very right about that.

Everyone seems to have changed his avatar this week... Guess I'd better get busy. The portraits of parents by one and all are very moving.
I've often wished I could click on someone's avatar and see the portrait on a larger scale, but I guess that would mean reworking the software package that runs RFF... It's a treat to see the full-size pictures posted and linked in this thread.
