Free enlargers

Thirty years ago, I worked there, while going through college.
Man O Man O Man there was interesting amazing stuff................
I sold large format & Leicas.
 
30 years ago the place was great... we still call it the Church of the Broken Camera. It has changed hands several times and is a shadow of its former self.

Its competitor down the street, Midwest, is a thriving business, having transitioned to new goods, strobes, and studio.

Nothing free there, though.
 
I just picked up up two 4x5 enlargers locally (I'm not completely certain I even need 1), and a ton of darkroom/developing gear. Anyone in the Central FL area interested? One I believe is an Omega D2 (?) and the other is a color one... I'll know more when I unload them from my car today or tomorrow.
 
I'm giving all my darkroom gear to a fellow apug.org member on Wednesday. I'll be glad to have the space, and so will my wife!
 
Ok, so one is a super chromega dichroic and the other is indeed an Omega D. I also got a bunch of other random stuff. I'll try to post an ad in the for trade tomorrow.

PS - if I kept one is either "better" than the other? I wouldn't be doing color and they came with a bundle of enlarging lenses.
 
The Super Chromega is for printing color (or B&W variable contrast paper).
I have a D2 and a Chromega head in my basement. I want to get it going again (if I ever have time).
 
Years ago I listed a couple of complete used enlargers free on craigslist.
One email from an interested party asked if delivery was included! :bang:

Yeah, I think I may try to convince my wife I "need" the D2 and I'm hoping someone here will pick up the color enlarger. Unfortunately, I fear it may not find a home...
