Hi,

i hope it's OK to post this, i think it's relevant to this forum. I finished an iPhone app that works as a development timer, just for fun, I couldn't find anything with a good interval timer to keep track of agitation. It's free, you can mail development recipes and post them to Facebook.

Happy to make changes and improvements if it's of use to anyone.

Hi Terry,
Ooops. I did a bad job here, the pre-canned recipes were meant to be examples (you can edit, create new, etc). I've updated the examples to say "Hypo-clear" and also fixed a typo "Tri-X" vs "TriX". This will be fixed for new downloaders once Apple approves the change!
THANKS
Todd

Hi Simon,
Any "iDevice" (iPhone, iPad, iPod) that runs iOS6. (yes, 3G can run iOS6 -- upgrade because you can get Google Maps with the new turn-by-turn directions!)

Hi Olivier,
-- you can create a new recipe with the + sign (upper left corner of main screen)
-- you can edit a recipe by tapping "Edit" once you've chosen a recipe
-- I like the M6! I have the M3, this is sort of what the timer is supposed to look like

Thanks!

Found how to edit haha! Now I have to get my head around using your app... But I really like it. And I also like the M3, almost bought one instead of the M6, but I somewhat need an integrated meter...

I gave it a spin yesterday; entered my own recipe for FP4+ in XTOL 1:1 at my customary 1.2x recommended time that works best for me. I found it very helpful not having to watch the clock to agitate every minute. As an unrepentant capitalist I must say I think most folks would easily pay $3 - $5 for it.

YIKES!

Someone just pointed out:

"When the timer ticks under 1 minute, the 1 sticks, instead of going to 00. The time is still right, it beeps at the right time, the minute just sticks"

OUCH! It's true! The fix has been uploaded to Apple, it takes them 5-7 days to approve. Also in the new release you can Tweet recipes, you can rearrange tasks, and the keyboard gets out of your way when creating new tasks.

Todd

PS: Next up ability to import/export entire libraries. Does anyone think it would be worthwhile to be able to publish recipes to a web site where people could search and download? That is what I am thinking for the next major feature. And planning iPad version.

New Version 1.1 Is Out -- Important Fix

New Version 1.1 Is Out -- Important Fix

Hi,

The new version, 1.1, is now on the App Store:

FIX: Important! Fixes the "stuck 1" issue
FIX: (Terry) Changed Hypo to Hypo-clear
NEW: Rearrange tasks within a recipe
NEW: Share recipes with Twitter
NEW: The keyboard gets out of your way when adding tasks

https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/develop!/id568421864

Thanks,

Todd

Planned for 1.2:
------------------
NEW: Support for iOS 5.1+
NEW: Ability to export/import entire library

It's not functioning right on an iPod Touch 5th generation with iOS 6. I can enter and edit recipes, but the Start button does nothing.

This seems great and all, but what I'd really like to see is a darkroom timer for printing. the closest thing I've seen so far is the Massive Development Chart app (because it does allow to change the screen to safelight modes); but that one set me back 10 bucks and it's still a film timer and not a print timer.

That said, thanks a lot for putting this out there. I can't wait to try it on my next develop session!
