Free Kodak Expired Film from Kodak/Flickr - Limited Time/Amount

What's the catch? Is Kodak really going to pay to ship out film for free? I'm assuming they're selling our personal info or using it for something nefarious.

Doesn't mean I didn't sign up 😛

It's no big deal. Frank Petronia sold recently expired Kodak 100UC at the rate of $1 per 36 exposure roll.

Sent my request as well.

Kodak has been good to me in the free film department, I hope they will send out some more free b&w soon.

Now if we can get Ilford and Rollei or Efke to do likewise.

Pretty simple, small shows of goodwill to the community like this buys them a lot of good pr, and the community response gives their ad people some fodder to work with.

I got the following email message from Kodak just moments ago:

"Hello Kodak film enthusiast,

Just wanted to let you know that you are one of the 400 Flickr users who get 10 free expired Kodak film rolls! Expect your package over the next two weeks.

Thank you so much for your interest; we really appreciate it!

Best,
Kodak"

I'd never thought that I'd get something like this. I'm definitely not located in the U.S., here's hoping that I'll be getting a package from New York in a few weeks. A big thank you to bmattock for the head's up!
