Very nice shots! good compositions. I really like that dog photo. what are these blue-purple spots in the first 3?

Heron...
I could not see the spots nor could I see any detail in the last until I went to a different monitor, I think I need another monitor...
You could check the rear bevel of your J12, some (mainly the Kiev mount) have an unpainted (black paint missing) ground glass bevel on the rear optic. If you got one of these you may need to have it painted - for high contrast shots, as otherwise you will get what look like strange light leaks! You seem to have some other flare/leak problems that would not be attributable to the J12, but I like the photos.

really nice shots. It's a pity there's light leak/flaring going on. If it was more dispersed you could easily say it was deliberate for that last shot

I am always tempted to reach for my little “Gossen” light meter. But it really is so liberating to use your brain and it is easy too! I recently came across a really interesting useful article about throwing away the meter and using your head. You might have all seen this but here it goes any way http://www.fredparker.com/ultexp1.htm
I have lots of cameras and lots of RFs mostly Russian/Japanese, I love my J12 and I have j3, j8, orion 15-my favourite! I want a leica too don’t we all? And we will all have one eventually, but I love my fed 3a and my zorki 3M so much, and I had to fix a few light leaks on my fed2s! Bottom of the line, really nice pictures without meter… It is fun to use cheap cameras and fix them. Hey where did you take these pictures?

very nice photos ... well done, I like the subject a lot and your composition is excellent especially the dog. It looks like a wonderful location for photography.
