From Atturri to Urola (the east part of the Cantabric Sea)

Wow ! That stormy lighting !!
I would have cropped out the character in the lower left. Or framed higher. But, on second thoughts, maybe not:
  • provide an anchor in the lower part of the image
  • an ironical substitute for the photographer (you) that must have been behind a camera for this picture to exist...
Regardless, a very nice image.

I made this picture with my X-T3 + XF 23mm 1.4, so the frame is horizontal, but I have procesed it again and I've decided to crop it in 6x6.

I love the woman in the left-down square... I think it makes the picture.

BUT, when I share a picture I know each person will see a different "picture", will feel in a different way... and I love it also. When I have read your thoughts I liked it a lot... thank you for sharing your thoughts. And yes, I also love this stormy light.

For me, the character in the lower left makes the picture, and a very good one it is! Always interesting to consider what makes a picture "good" (or not) for different people...
Thank you!

Yes, it's so interesting to know what makes a picture "good" (or not) for different people... that helps me / (us) to grow.

These photos of your son fill me with hope and optimism each time I see him. The world is unpredictable, and it not the meek who inherit the earth, but the young. History does not unfold according to rules or plans. There is always the possibility of great and unexpected things. Perhaps he will rescue Europe.

Thank you Richard... great words that touch my heart.

About your last sentence... it impacted to me a lot. First I thought I hadn't understood your sentence fine, so I didn't write an fast answer, I decided to take a good time to read it again, put it in the translate app and then write to you.

Europe... What have you become, Europe? Or have you always been like this, and now my eyes and ears perceive you more clearly, just as you have always been?...

Whether in Europe, or anywhere else, a thinking person who has chosen to remain open-minded will realize, with age, that many of the truths and "facts" which we've been taught, things that "everyone knows", are at best incomplete, inaccurate, or outright lies. This is one of the sad lessons of History. If you find yourself saddened, at least know that you are wiser.
