From Infinity to Beyond!

A couple of months ago I added a Visoflex III and a few other accessories to the collection. Here are a couple taken with a M6 TTL Millennium, Visoflex III, Bellows II and a 90mm 2.8 Elmarit. The first is from infinity, the second is at about a 4 to 1 ratio. Both were done from the same spot, adjusting tripod head then changing the focus of the bellows. Taken on Kodak Portra 160.

That's an excellent macro for a lens not originally designed for the job. It's great what you can do with the Leica accessories. I've got a Nooky close-up attachment arriving soon so I can get closer with an Elmar 50/3.5 on my IIIf - but not as close as that.

It was designed for both near and far which is why the head comes off. It is the tele elmarit that works best at distance. In fact any 90 that has tele in the name works best far.

135 4.5 Hector is good far and near. 135 4.0 tele elmar is excellent close & far. 135 APO is unknown to me . As it does not mount on bellows, I never purchased.

90 pre asph Summicron is a bit off under 6 feet and stopping down does not help. A + for portraits which is why I keep mine. APO 90 needs a redo with floating elements.
