Decided to add an X100s to my camera bag, despite having some reservations because I already have an M9 and a bunch of 35's. So far, no regrets. This is an awesome little camera: gets little attention, and is quiet as it gets.

It's great. Is it rugged enough? Someone posted here a picture of his X100 that was the most beaten up working camera I have even seen, and it was still going fine.

What ISO, and film settings? Looking good. Interestingly the lens doesn't give a semi-wide effect despite being a 23mm/35mm equiv. This image looks like it could have been taken with a normal 50mm equivalent

ISO3200 - shot at the base settings. This was cropped so it does have some compression not typically seen from a 35.

Very nice. I'm curious why you chose the Fuji over the Ricoh GR, which to me seems a better M9 companion.

I preferred having the built in viewfinder of the Fuji, although the GR was very tempting. Additionally, I mostly (99%) shoot with a 35, so I figured the Fuji would be a good "light day" replacement.

If you shoot mostly with a 35 and like the X100S, then I am not sure why you would spend a heap of money on an M240. The X100S has been a pronounced fatal blow to my desire to ever own a digi-Leica...and I am not alone either...must be an amateur camera owner thing.

There are some M and LTM lenses I really enjoy using, so the M will be the vessel for those. A lot of these lenses are actually 35's, but there are a few 50s in my bag that I really like too.

These are excellent shots!

Back when I got my X100, it completely took the place of my M9 until I sold it. Kept the X100 a few more months then sold it as well to get back into a DSLR and shooting news photos.

Now that I use a D3, I wish I had an X100 as my go-to wide angle body instead of swapping lenses. It's much lighter than a second DSLR and just makes the perfect dedicated wide angle second camera.
