front focus using Amedeo adapter & 35mm f/2.5?

Hi everyone, I received my LTM - Nikon S adapter from Amedeo yesterday. I must say that it's a beautiful piece of equipment. I immediately took my M mount adapter and put in on the Monochrom. It works perfectly with my 50 1.4 & 85mm f/2. However, when I try the 35mm f/2.5 (Nikon version, not CV) I'm getting massive front focusing especially at close up distances.

Is anyone else seeing this with that particular lens?

I have two Amedeo LTM-S adapters and neither do that with my 35/2.5, and nor do they do it with my 35/3.5 or 28/3.5.

Not sure what's happening with yours. Is it binding with the RF arm when focused closer? One of my adapters did that with the 28mm until I filed a tiny bit of paint off the rear barrel.

I'll have to check that. Is there a way to tell if the lens isn't mounted?

No, because it's impacting the rangefinder arm on the camera.
