Front lens element of Minister 700

Hey,

My minister 700 has broken down, and is now garbage. However, I took out the front lens element, which I may sell to someone in need of a spare one. Anyway, I am wondering, does this front element just fit the Minister 700, or can it be screwed onto a Minister D, other Minister rangefinders, or possibly even other series of Yashica rangefinders?

That piece of glass is larger than on Ministers w/ slower lenses. I haven't compared side by side, probably Lynx 5000 could use it (wild guess, at best). My bet would be to use it to repair another 700 as these are scarce.

Why is it garbage? Can it not be fixed? The 700 I believe is a reasonably uncommon model.
