Frustrated by CR2 batteries

CR2 lithium battery is barely smaller than CR123 but commonly has only 60% of capacity of latter cell while price is same for both. Having CR2 going flat much sooner than CR123 does first led me to thought camera is defective and eats through batteries but it seems rather expected behavior.

Just wanted to vent off 🙂

Well, by volume they are about half the size, matching the capacity. Worse is that CR2 rechargeables have little more than 1/3 the capacity of good CR123 rechargeables, and are much more expensive.

Right sevo, looking at dimensions it seems that geometrical volume of CR2 is about 2/3 of volume of CR123 - just like electrical capacity. Then there's last [wrong] figure in equation - price.
