back to basics
Hi all of you,
This lens is sitting on a shelf for some time now, being wedged in between 35mm and 50mm. I also have UV, yellow and red filters for it. Recently these lenses have been sold on E*** for about 200euros so that would be my asking price. That will include box, papers, generic rear cap, original front cap and rubber lens hood.
If anyone is interested, please let me know.
Oh, before I forget, the lens is in immaculate condition!
Thanks, Rob.

Hi Todd,
An internet converter calculated about $270. Shipping should be something like 10 euros extra, say $15.

I took a series of tests in the snow at different apertures testing against my old Summicron 50.
The ones marked R are with red filter. Too bad I did not yet make them all equally lighter in photoshop.
In these conditions the Summicron is a little contrastier than the Rokkor (without redfilter) and just a little bit sharper. Not very much though.
These were along with my first series of B&W and filter tests. Conclusion: in little contrast do not use red filter. It proves only to enhance existing contrast.

Wow! I've never seen the box before! Really!
Great lens, mine was a wonder.
I kinda like Minolta glass, I find it very sharp and with great character.
