FSU camera newbie

I have a '35 Leica.III that I got from JimG that's beautiful. I've got a '34 III that, well... looks like it was made in 1934 ;). Both are a pleasure to use and carry - or just look at. I also have a 1930 Leica.I converted to III that's sitting on Oleg's bench as we speak.

Many [most?] FEDs/Zorkis are versions of a '30s technology made in the '50s, right? Having both, '30s & '50s examples, outside of the slightly better quality in the originals, I'm not sure what the differnce is in the "experience." They're all Old.School, which I like. :) :)

Avotius,
This is a web site I have found very helpful when I was sorting through the many choices available in Soviet cameras:
http://www.commiecameras.com/.
As for frame lines, I think the Kiev 5 has lines for 50 and 85 mm lenses. And possibly the Drug or the Leningrad but I don't own either so I'm not sure.
My own favorite FSU camera is the Zorki 3M. And there is one for sale here at RFF as I type this(not mine--I'm keeping them!):
Zorki 3M.
Good luck with your decision!
Rob
