Hello,

It's rather ridiculous to call it a field test, actually. All I did was take the lenses out on a rainy day for a shoot. I would have preferred to have taken all the shots on a tripod, but I'm quite busy right now with exams and all that.

The film used was Kodak Profoto 100, dated 2002, and it was processed and scanned at West End Cameras on Tottenham Court Road, which is a Fuji minilab. I doubt the resolution was very high.

I have only included the exposures that were not ruined by incorrect focusing or camera-shake. Unfortunately that comprised only less than half of the roll.

First up is the Jupiter 8, from f2 to f4.

Finally, two Orion 15 shots that I liked.

I really have to get used to focusing with rangefinders. As you can see in some of the exposures, the focusing was not very accurate.

Thank you and I hope this has been of use.

I thought the focus looks pretty good, the J9 shot of the girl with the umbrella is the only one I notice being out, and I'm sure that is from reframing. What kind of view finder?

Also I have to know, every one seems to be paying attention to somthing just before they get to the stairs, Monkeys? :)

Girl with umbrella looks disgusted, or put out.

I was using the turret viewfinder. I prefocused on the edge of the railing.

Nope, no monkeys. None in my part of London as far as I know.

Maybe girl with umbrella was disgusted with me.

No, he was just adjusting his visor.

But there are plenty of bike couriers all around Central London, and they often have PTT handsets for communication devices.
