Awesome. I've shot their NPH (now PRO 400H) and love the grain characteristics/sharpness of the film, but I wonder how much more extreme the grain is as far as degradation of sharpness etc... Do you have any examples of this stuff scanned in? (a high res image would tell me a lot more then a 400x600 would)

This ISO-800 film is very fine grained. The colors are more vivid than the Pro 400h, but not to the point of being oversaturated. I use it with my Fuji G690 as an all-purpose color film. Just make sure that your camera is capable of 1/500s at f/22 if you plan to use it on the beach...

Here are some pictures from my gallery taken in MF with this film:

And a much better one in 35mm recently posted by anhtu on a thread about Asian street pictures:

Gorgeous shots Abbazz, and thanks for the head's up. Just nailed 20 rolls myself.

If you're not already there please post some of your images on my Fuji Rangefinder site:

Would love to see some of your images there, as would others I'm sure.

Thanks for the kind words, Richard.

I have registered to your great site a few years ago, but I have to admit that I have not uploaded many shots since...

Most of my gallery here was shot with 220 NPZ as it's long become a favorite. I need the speed for shooting indoors, and find it handles odd and mixed-source lighting very well. Surprisingly good in 35mm too! Most NPZ I see available now is either outdated or shortdated, and the new 800Z is significantly more expensive. :(

Well with results like that it'd be nice! BTW, what did you scan those with?

Fuji Frontier at the local 1-hour minilab. Unfortunately, this outlet just stopped processing film last month. Now, it only sells digital cameras and cell-phones. It was one of the last minilabs processing 120 film here in Brunei. I do BW at home but I don't want to have to send my color negatives to Singapore to have them processed...
