FUJI ACROS 100 to be discontinued?

Don't worry, as one of our Fuji fans here often says "just buy enough other Fuji BW films and Fuji will bring back Acros 100 (probably Neopan 400, too)"!

Oh, wait...

Granted, Fuji is going to leave film completely, the writing has been on the wall for years already.

However, as long as there had been NO OFFICIAL announcement on this, refrain from posting crappy fake-news.

I shot my first roll of Neopan Acros 100 last month. Surprise, first try and exposure index and development scheme worked perfectly. The negatives scanned very well, and were easy to post process. My only complaint was curling and the base seems to be a dust magnet. I would be seriously buying this film if I wasn't nervous about it being removed.

Still a rumor, but supposedly a strong one. Seems that if this film goes, Fuji is done. Even though I don't use it... it is sad. I know a few of my friends love it.

John,

An important film for me. Best for bulb exposures using a tripod because of no reciprocity failure.

I still have a stockpile from the last time the discontinued rumor happened.

I'll check my inventory tonight. Most important to me is 120.

This is a bummer. Especially the 120. I should be used to it, but it continues to be a drag. I was just looking at a Japanese document (on PetaPixel) that sure looks like an advance death notice. Hope it's fake but I bet it's not.

What does fuji offer for film shooters now?
Velvia 50/100
Provia 100
400H
Acros 100

With Acros being the only B&W, I hope they don't kill as I also like it for long exposure.
If it does disappear no big deal as I like Ilford FP4+ and Delta 100

The "source" refers to translations of dealer distrubuted documents. I haven't seen a report which shows the dealer documents or their translations. So for me, it's still in the rumor stage. Perhaps they are only discontinuing pro packs, while continuing to sell individual rolls, which they have done with other films. I don't shoot Acros, so this doesn't affect me personally, but I hate to see fellow photographers lose their favorite film.

So will Fuji be changing their name to "Fuji-we only make instant film"

I was thinking, either:

Or:
