Starting to get very tired of database-based catalog programs.
does apple (aperture) have a trial version available?
So has the Fuji RAW conversion kerfuffle settled down? Is LR4 "there" imn terms of what it can do? Have the masses migrated to CaptureOne? I am planning some summer travel and planning to take the M9 and X1-Pro. But it would be helpful to hear others' recent experiences with Fuji RAW files.

I hate programs that require you to set up a library, ie import photos, when there is already a system I perfected.

These apps are not really aimed at serious photos. None of them work well with really large catalogs.
Besides, I still don't see any advantage in any of them over photoshop except price.
Your PS is a non destructive editor too --> Layers.
