Hello again.
I've just loaded my GS645S with Neopan 400 and bought some DD-X on the strength of the images posted here by Steveh.
Steveh (and others?) what asa did you rate the Neopan at and can you give me a guide on the processing in DD-X?
Much appreciated. I haven't yet taken an exposure; it's just ready to go, so if I can find out a good speed to rate the film at I'll be off!
Failing responses I'll go with box speed and take it from there.
Thanks all - and I do like that bicycle!
Jim.

A recent print I made using my GA645wi:
NOTE: Unfortunately I don't have a lighting setup that can do the print justice.

does any one find the vertical orientation a PITA or do you find that you adjusted without much thought?

I find the orientation great for portraits but not so much for general purpose or street scenes. It will cause you to think differently about composition, which isn't a bad thing. I wouldn't want it to be my everyday camera, that's for sure.

Never had a problem with it. People who default to landscape orientation on traditional 24x36mm cameras will probably default to portrait orientation there, but I'd welcome that as a break from bad habits if it happened to me.
As I have barely any 35mm shooter habits that does not bother me - on most of my bigger cameras a orientation switch merely means rotating the back, and the proper orientation mhas to be decided shot-by-shot...

No problem! The camera is light enough to hold to get a horizontal composition.

Just got my GA645 from KEH yesterday. "Bargain" condition seems to mean "Ex" on this one - yes! The metering does seem a little weird to me, but I have to remind myself that I'm shooting Ektar 100 for a test roll - not the 200-400 ISO range I'm shooting on my other cameras. Also - it's not TTL - there may be more of a learning curve, esp with E6....
@ivansanzana - the round eyepiece can be replaced by a Nikon eyepiece/diopter/accessory. It's the smaller size - F3 (non-hp), FE, FM, Nikkormat. Not F3HP, F90, etc.

I shot Ektar 100 at 64 (using the GA645's meter) and I got decent results. Basically, the meter is really thrown off by the sky.

Is there a way to deal with available light situations with these slow lenses? A good high speed film?
Cheers...
