I've misplaced the lens hood for my old Fuji GA645ZI. I contacted KEH and they don't have a original equipment replacement. Any suggestions for a used, new, or substitute that won't vignette nor block the auto-focus gizmo?
Thanks,
Jeff

I use the 52mm B+W wide angle metal lens hood available here: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/11192-REG/B_W_65069646_52mm_Screw_In_Metal_Wide.html
I also use a small Op/Tech hood hat to cover the lens when this hood is on. The hood does not interfere with the operation of the camera, but it does partially block the bottom view through the view finder.

are you actually experiencing flare
are you actually experiencing flare
Fuji's EBC (Electronic Beam Coating) is quite good. Over the years, I have used a number of Fuji 645's including two Zi models and the 690 models. I have never used a lens hood and rarely experience flare. I realize that may be due to my shooting style. I do tend to compose to avoid flare.

It is definitely a trade off using the B+W lens hood, since I find the blockage of the view finder a bit annoying. Kuzano, I'll take your advice and see if I get any flare problems when I remove it. BTW, the lens on this camera is absolutely superb. And it's a zoom, too!
