Here we go.

There is a 110mm f2 lens in the works and a 63mm f2.8 standard lens.
This camera could be the standard for Portrait and Wedding pros.

Yes the system is going to be great...but will take time to gain the following it deserves. Also..the military have much larger sensor cameras in orbit for several years. But for the real world...the GFX is already #1 seller at B&H and number 10# at Amazon as of this morning. I will be posting a video on the event hopefully this weekend.

I got to spend a decent amount of time with GFX and all of the lenses. System is going to kick over the medium format digital table. Also it will be an open platform...so F series Hassy and even Pentax 67 glass should be good to go with adapters. Fuji executives are welcoming anyone wanting to make adapters for GFX. Also the view camera adapters are already in the works. So they are putting their foot to the floor. Im excited. I asked for wide angle lenses beyond the current offerings.

On a fullframe camera I use 18mm quite often. What focal length would it be for the sensor of the GFX to cover that field of view?

On a fullframe camera I use 18mm quite often. What focal length would it be for the sensor of the GFX to cover that field of view?

All I can say at the moment is that...I challenged them in a friendly manner to shoot for a 10mm equivalent or a 10-18 type of range.

18mm from 35mm on 44x33 would be 23mm. They have a 23/4 that is coming out later this year. You're covered.

In theory I'm covered. There is no way that I'd spend that money for a new camera. Let's see if there will be some used ones next year and at what price.
