Does such a camera exist? I have never had a Fuji rangefinder, but I thought the GW cameras had the 90mm and the GSW cameras had the 65mm. I found one on craigslist, the guy says it's a GSW690III with a 90mm. I didn't think this could be possible, but he sent me a picture of the top plate which says GSW. The photos are crappy and there's not a close-up of the writing on the front, but it has a large front element so obviously it's the 90mm (and he swears it's the 90mm). Any info?

It might have a replacement top plate from a GSW. The tops are pretty easy to take off and swap, and after looking at a GSW image, the top looks similar to the one on my GW680.

The tops are freely interchangeable among each generation, and generation II and III spares still are fairly easy to find. While I haven't seen any with a mismatched lens so far (and would suspect that to be the consequence of a sloppy repair job rather than fraudulent), 6x7's labelled as 690 aren't uncommon.

I figured that's what it would be. Thanks!
