For those that have a Fuji 690 series, what camera bag / case are you using? I really like the Domke messenger bag which holds my DSLR and lenses. I was thinking of a smaller Domke bag just to hold the one GSW 690II that I have. Fixed lens so no need for additional lenses just a bit of room for my light meter and extra film.

I would love to get one of those old school leather cases for film cameras but the only website I could find custom made theirs (read: $$$) and they wanted me to send the camera to them for dimensions.

I'm currently using a over-the-shoulder sling type Kata bag which is nice but the over-the-shoulder I just cannot get used to.

Somewhere in your community is a person who crafts leather and is very reasonable. Sounds like the old school bag you are considering is a perfect candidate for some leather crafting hobbyist. Tooling is even a possibility.

Go to an art or crafts store and look for a bulletin board with cards on it, or ask store management if they know someone in the community who does such work. A store who sells leather working tools, or leather supplies would be ideal.

Instead of reading $$$$, read reasonable prices from the right person. If you need an insert for separating camera gear, film, etc. Find an appropriately sized insert from any of the bag sellers and take it to a leather crafter.

I use an old army surplus ammo bag for my GSW690 or a Courierware bag if I have more stuff to carry. The camera is so big that it attracts attention and so I prefer to carry it a bit undercover on public transportation.
