Hi:

I've the opportunity to buy the mentioned camera... body in user condition with some marks, the lens is clean and without marks or scratches... how much would you pay for one of those....?

Thanks and bests

Pictures would help, if you have any?

Ebay auctions would be worth looking at to get a general idea, but I suppose how much you are willing pay. The GW goes for less than the GSW, and I think that the MK III version is slightly more desirable on the used market. I'd guess slightly under £500 stirling would be an okay price for the condition that you describe.

It would also be worth having a look here if you're not all that familiar with the cameras..

Hope this helps.

I wasn't searching one but a local seller told me about it so I don't have a price in mind... I would like to know if the price makes interesting the camera. Thanks for the replies

Do'nt know if this helps, but there's a Fuji 645zi on the bay right now for $102.

GA657Zi.... half the frame size...

GA657Zi.... half the frame size...

The GW690 frame is twice as big as the 6x4.5 shot by the GA645Zi, but also half the shots per roll of 120 (8 frames).

I was told by an ardent user of the Fuji GW and GSW models to opt for the III for reliability.

However, for a clean GW690II with a low shutter count (say 250 to 300 rolls on the counter on the bottom of the camera, ie 3000 shutter actuations), I would probably consider $500 as a good price. The model with the S (GSW) commands more money for the 65mm wide angle lens.

I recently sold a GSW690III with a VERY low shutter count and the wide angle 65mm lens for $900, which is what I paid a couple of years before. There are some outrageous prices on eBay, and sometimes someone steps up and pays way too much for these models, but they are top rate MF cameras, with very sharp lenses, whether the 90mm or the 65mm.

My first big Fuji "Texas Leica" was the interchangable lens G690bl, and a clean one will still bring the price of the fixed lens GW and GW II models.
