Sorry to have missed your post on this, sinetsin, but here's what i know about HRII: it's iso 6 (slow enough to shoot wide open on the sunniest of days!), only available in 35mm (36exp), has a completely clear base, and is virtually grain free. One problem i've noticed is that it tends to have quite a bit of lateral curl - i had to tape the negative file to a poster tube and roll it backwards to relieve it's 'memory'. I've still got about 8 rolls, and need to shoot more of it soon.. if you're a fan of high-contrast images, this film is for you!
Of some historical importance: Eikoh Hosoe used this film for some of the photos in the book "Killed by Roses".
I actually asked Dirk (from Megaperls) about the availability of this film last year, and thankfully he was able to locate some. He has a set of fantastic HRII pics up here, which were developed semi-stand in Rodinal.
