If someone were to offer to sell you several rolls of Neopan SS 100 (not Neopan Acros) and say the expiration date is 8/2018 what would be your response??

I believe Neopan SS has been discontinued for a couple years now, not sure how the expiration date could be 2018 lol.

It was discontinued in 2006 and dropped from their sales catalog in 2007. If I recall the last batch had an expiration date of 8/2012 or 8/2013..

I have been seeing a lot of expired SS on eBay lately so I suspect this is re-packaged SS with a new/false expiration date.

This was discontinued around 2006 as someone else said and I shot about 100 rolls of it, with an expiration date of late 2009, from 2008 until a few months ago. Very nice film that was selling at $1.99 a roll (36 exposures).

However, it is back, selling at $5.89 a roll at Uniquephoto.com and probably other places. I noticed it was back at Unique for at least over a year. Sounds to me like it was discontinued and then reissued to charge more, but maybe it was improved.
