I just got my hands on a few rolls of Fuji Neopan SS. Does anyone here has experience how to best develop this film for later scanning? Since I do no more have the place and time to develop the film on my own I depend on labs and the developers used there. Specifically these are XTOL, D76, ID11, Adolux ATM49, Perceptol, Rodinal and TMAX developer.

Cheers

If the lab develops them right they'll all scan fine. As for the developers each have different characteristics that will impact the final image of the film. Even the dilutions of the developer itself have different characteristics.

If the lab doesnt have much experience with a particular film they might stick with the more conventional D-76.

Ive shot a few rolls of SS and like it enough to keep trying it. I develop them in a mix of Xtol and Rodinal and they have scanned quite easily so far. The only real issue with scanning might be if the negatives come out too dense or thin from development errors.
