Fuji Press vs Pro Film?

I'm generally a black and white film shooter but I'd like to grab a couple of rolls of color neg film for street shooting. I generally like Fuji's color films and I know I like Reala for a 100 speed film but I'm looking for something faster and wanted to try one of their 400 or maybe 800 speed films for street stuff.

What's the difference between the Press 400 and Pro 400? I tend to like contrasty film but not necessarily over-saturated and grain is OK (I sorta like grainy color film if it's got contrast).

Can anyone enlighten me?

it's just a matter of where on the sheet of film the roll is cut from. For instance, press might be along the edges, whereas pro is in the middle. I think some of the superia consumer films are even from the same stock, and those would truly be from the edges, etc.

For street photos and more contrasty images, Press 400 will be more suitable. Press 400 is essentially the same as Superia Xtra 400, but is out on the market when the film's best color age is "ripe", and been transported by cold storage. It has good contrast color, wide latitude to both exposures and color temperatures. It tolerates very well on different light sources. Pro 400H is mainly for portrait, especially in the studio. It produces beautiful skin tones. As a result, it is less saturated. Grain-wise, both are similar. But with your purpose, Press 400 is the film to go!
