The Fuji SQ6 looks like one of Fuji's better offerings:

- instant film square format 62mm x 62mm/2.4in. x 2.4in.
- no digital hybrid stuff
- close focus to 30cm
- double exposures
- +/- 2/3EV (not enough IMO)
- takes two CR2 Lithium batteries
- Pearl White, Blush Gold, and (what a relief..) Graphite Gray.

Retractable lens, 2 components, 2 elements, f = 65.75 mm, 1:12.6. I would much have preferred a quality lens for another 100, but the target market probably won't care.

Price USD130. Available from 25 May 2018.

Interesting. I like they're using the much larger Instax square format, but am disappointed by the 2-element F12 lens. Still, worth a look.

I was intrigued by this new square format Instax camera so I bought one. This is one of my first test shots. The image is smaller than that of an SX-70, but still useable. Colors look to be much better than Polaroid Originals color film. I need to take more pics but I am impressed.

We'll see how the rest of the pack goes, but Instax may be getting more of my instant business than Polaroid Originals.
