Bummer. I still want one, though.

+1.
Is this a sign? But probably best to wait until photokina.

Bad news!
I would dearly love to have one of these, as it would make a very nice complement to my beloved TLRs and one excellent 6x7 camera to round out my MF stable. It is a major expenditure, however, and I keep wondering if I should put more money into film equipment.

It is without a doubt, the one camera I would keep if I were to sell everything else. After travelling to Peru and Mexico with the GF670, I realize the camera makes the perfect travel companion. There are times when I need something wider, but man oh man, that damned 80mm is so sharp!

If u been wanting one get it.. It is a great camera. I actually use mine in 6x6 mode..I never really got into 6x7. The only camera that is better is a Voitlander Bessa II w/ Heliar lens.
Too bad they are going to discontinue it...but u had to know that one day it was going to happen

Sad news - as is any film-related discontinuation notice.
Personally I would love the non-folding wide version but the price hike over the folder is just "a bridge too far" for something I honestly would not use very often

right when i got a pentax 67 75/2.8 instead of a gf670...might have to rethink that decision.
Here we go again...+1.

Not yet, probably...Did I miss a rumor?

... likes film again.
Not nice to see another camera going out of production but ... I bought a Moskva-5 complete with 6x6 mask instead of the much more modern and sophisticated Fuji GF670. So far it has served me well.

If they used the single batch production scheme that has grown standard in the consumer electronics industry, Cosina probably made all of them during one production run, and they are gone once that inventory is sold.

Did I miss a rumor?
There have been rumours about a fixed lens MF digital from Fuji, but details were thin and unreliable sounding.

Buying one, don't want to spend more than MSRP later on to get it..

Had one, didn't use it enough. I prefer using the Hasselblad 500CM or SWC.
