do you think we will see another update for the xe-1?

I'm sure we will for new lens support at the very least.
Maybe color peaking select-ability as well.
After checking out the red peaking in tge xt1 I hope the xpro/xe1 cameras get it soon as well.

Indeed - they have to update every time a new lens comes out. Hopefully, they will tweak and/or add functionality as the hardware allows. I know some get tired of doing the updates, but I think it's really great.
