Fuji Will Keep Film Business

I'm surprised they discontinued Velvia 50 in sheet formats. I always thought that was a very popular landscape film among the LF crowd.

Don't know about Fuji but Kodak had a history of making public statements about not discontinuing a product and then two or three weeks later doing exactly the opposite.

Mt total stock of Neopan 400 now is down to 75 rolls, grabbing them as they come out in the market here. I'll be a happy camper when I have a thousand of them It will tide me away for the next 10-12 years.

Rollei (Maco) is making the Digibase CN and CR200 Pro and we also have the really awful ferrenia solaris

Ferrenia is already finished and the Rollei CN/CR films are made by Agfa Gevaert. But the CR200 is an old type RSX Agfa E6 technique, not up to date E6 film. But it's ok for LOMO or cross processing.

The CN200 pro C41 can compete with regular iso 200 color negative films.

In Europe the whole E6 market is very weak so no surprice Fuji is taking out some E6 film again and less popular formats too. 4x5" and 8x10" you can count on one finger here.
