Fuji xp1 - heritage ?

I had totally forgotten about this camera, but it looks like the guys who layed out the looks (design) of the Fuji x100 and xp1 did not.. Except for a couple of control surface difference, it looks pretty close.. To me it looks like they took a lot of the q's from the Panasonic lc1.. The camera prior to this one that it reminds me of is the contax g series (film). Anyway what do u think about the resemblance?

Well, let's remember that Fuji made Medium Format Rangefinders for many years and then made AF versions too.

The Pany pictured is not the L1 but the LC1. The L1 shared a body with the Digilux 3, 4/3 format. Looked a lot like a Contax G2. I owned one, very nice form factor.
