Fuji XPro first lens

The 18mm doesn't seem to equal the performance of the X100's 23mm, so probably the 35/1.4 to start - if things shake out where the 18 is a good lens, I'd go that way for the second

I'll be very interested in that 12-24 when that comes out, esp if it's anything like that Tokina 12-24 for Nikon

I pre-ordered the 35/1.4.

I will plan to order the 14 mm lens when it is released.

I also plan to order a Barebones bag so I can carry my X100 along with the XPro1 as needed.

If I was going to buy one, my first choice - no question - would be the 35/1.4. Having shot with my first SLR as a teenager using only a "standard" lens and sticking with various permutations of that theme over the years, it seems like a natural choice, followed by the 18mm and lastly the 60mm. If there was a 24mm (35mm EFOV) then it would really be a toss-up and probably come down to speed and/or optical qualities.

The X-Pro1 looks great on paper but I'll wait for some reviews to see how it actually works in practice and whether the non-Bayer filter pattern results in any EXR-style weirdness...

I went for the 35mm 1.4 to start with then I'll grab the 18mm later. I might get all three available lenses if I like the camera a lot.

Out of the ones that will be announced in the future, I'm interested in:

- 28mm f/2.8 pancake
- 23mm f/2.0

I'd love a 24-70 zoom! ESP a f2 IS one lolz.

Prpb the 50 equiv for me, since this system is a digital Contax g2 I'll go with the normal lens!

ordered with the 18 and then I'll wait for the M adapter. If M lenses work well with this camera I'd rather use them for normal and long so at least I have a proper focusing ring. I'm guessing wide will be more of a problem for this type of camera so I think it's wise to cover wide with a proprietary lens which is (hopefully) corrected to match the sensor. I'd rather have fuji deal with vignetting, colour shifts etc than me have to do it on a shot by shot basis.
