Before the purchase of the Fujifilm TX-2 (TX) be aware that Fuji USA nor Hasselblad USA will touch the camera. I have not been able to get service on my TX-2 - the problem appears to be a factory assembly problem (defect).
Any idea where to get service?
Hasselblad won't sell me the part, won't look at the camera.
Fuji USA won't even say the camera exists.

Officially the Fuji TX1/2 are Japanese market only. Maybe someone knows a good independent repair person for Xpans?

I have used Essex Camera in Carlstadt, NJ (http://essexcamera.com/index.php) on several occasions to fix cameras for which parts no longer existed.
I found them to be rapid, fair and reliable. You can reach them by email or telephone.

Thanks Richard I'll check with them.

I like the Fuji TX-2/X-PanII camera, the ability to change formats from 35mmm to almost 7cm panoramic. I may have to break down and purchase a new X-Pan II if Essex Camera Service estimate is allmost that of new.I'll see.
My other rangefinder's a Linhof 5x7(inch) with 110mm lens with Cam for Rangefinder & a Fuji GX617 (120/220).
Just setting up darkroom in my new house.
Great web site!!!!!!

Couldn't you send it back to the retailer you bought it from? Eg. if you bought it in Japan, you would have a Japanese warranty? If out of warranty, possibly they could give you a repair quote from Fuji Japan?
