The Fujica SE and EE models share the 45mm 1.9 lens, while the Fujica V2 and Compact Deluxe share the 45mm 1.8 lens.

The 45mm 1.9 lens has a very impressive resolution line pair per mm level.
Center wide open = 280 and whole image resolution at 115
Center stopped down to 5.6 = 280 and whole image resolution at 154

Just for comparison here is the Leica M2 Summicron 50mm f2 lens
Center wide open = 280 and whole image resolution at 181
Center stopped down to 5.6 = 250 and whole image resolution at 180
(I wonder if this was a mixup in the reference book. It would make much more sense for the Leica lens to be sharper at 5.6 than at wide open).

And here is the Canonet 45mm 1.9 lens
Center wide open = 180 and whole image resolution at 58
Center stopped down to 5.6 = 200 and whole image resolution at 87

And here is the Yashica Electro 35 45mm 1.7 lens
Center wide open = 160 and whole image resolution at 112
Center stopped down to 5.6 = 224 and whole image resolution at 158

see here for more information (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet...rhd6T_-Ir6e6FbPKIvHRTYriI/edit#gid=1120227413)

But so far I have not found any information about the newer Fujica V2 45mm 1.8 lens. Has anyone tested to see how they compare?

Kind regards,

Tom
