Today I recieved a Fujica st705w. It will definately need new light-seals and I've already got the material ordered.

It has a different problem though. The mirror bounces up again after it comes down. It doesnt seem to effect exposure, since it bounces after the exposure is made.

It bounces against a screw, which location I market in the attached image. I dont know what screw it is.
Should that screw be covered in something to prevent bouncing?
Im sure I'm missing something here.
Help would be appriciated.

EDIT: one more thing, I know the camera takes SR44 batteries, but is there a reason not to use LR44?

I noticed something today. The underside of the mirror is covered in some fabric. The fabric covering has a tiny cutout just where it hits the screw. I "upped" the mirror in B, then set a small piece of random thin cloth on top of that screw, and then lowered the mirror. It didnt bounce. So maybe I should cover that tiny cutout in the fabric in the underside of the mirror.

The black foam by the focusing screen is gone. The film door light seals are also gone.
There is some light seal near the mirror hinges. In the 'back' of the camera, just between the focusing screen and mirror. It coveres some screws. This one is loose, and might fall out soon.

Yes they are nice cameras. I was suprised to see that it isnt much bigger than my Pentax ME Super.

I just replaced all the light-seals, including mirror bumper. Still bouncing away. The camera is usable though, just the sound isnt as good.
