Received a nice black ST801. Shutter speed dial is stuck on 1000th and won't budge clockwise or anticlockwise. Shutter fires nice and the meter works fine so seems like it may be worth saving. Any idea's regarding the shutter speed dial. I can't find anything online that suggests it's a common problem. Any tips on an easy fix? Do you think it is worth sending away for repair. I did receive a nice lens with it, a Fujinon 55mm f1.8 ebc so i could keep the lens and trash the camera if it's not worth saving.

Does it look like someone opened it up before and did not put it back together correctly? Usually, shutter speed dials are easy enough to remove, so you can try to see what is jamming it.
