First major Japanese online retailer tags the GF670 with "only 100 left"...
I have yet to see a used body in state's market. Either no one is buying it here or people just love it so much.
Gabor, you can always crop to 6x6. mamiya 7 is an awesome camera.
Never handled the 667 though, so can't say which one is better.
AFAIK the production of the GF670 is a bit more limited than that of the Bessa III so I guess it's possible that some stores are now selling their last 100 which is still quite a lot. If they sell one a week it'll still last them two more years.
FWIW, I got my Bessa III last than a week ago and it's number 341. Considering they're making them in the thousands I suppose it'll be in stock for some more time.
You have your numbers mixed up so your conclusions are not quite right: GF670 run is 5000, Bessa is 1000 units.
Oh, ok. I thought it was the other way around simply because the GF670 is Japan only and the Bessa is for the rest of the world (IIRC).
If the series is limited to 5.000 there is hope the next series will feature the 6x9 format. If so, I'll get one because I don't like 6x6 or 6x7. I need an aspect ratio of 3:2.
