Fujifilm is selling lots of Instax "film"

We use the Instax camera and printer at gallery openings. Guests love it.

The advantage of the Instax camera (Neo Classic) over the SP1 is the spontaneity.
The advantage of the SP1 printer is that you know what the final result will be, as you can make sure the image looks 'perfect' on your phone (or connected Fuji camera) before hitting print.

Initially I thought the prints were too small, but you quickly get used to it and they can easily be slid into a wallet w/o risk of bending/damaging them.

I'd like such a back for my G690BL And one that takes the Instax mini for the Mamiya 645.

There's actually a company making Instax backs for the Mamiya 600SE. Depending how much it's worth to you, you could contact them and see if they could do something for the 645:

I would love it if Fuji would do B&W instax film and also an upgraded wide camera that is more like the Neo 90.

The Instax 300 might fit the bill, depending on which features of the Neo 90 you're looking for:

In this graph the global demand for photo film until 2010 is shown,
not the global sales of Fuji films.
That's a difference.

The 300 is the same as the 210 but looks different.

I took my 210 to a wedding yesterday and got a great reaction from people when I pulled it out. I got a good pic of the first dance and framed it in the empty film pack and gave it to them.

I have the Instax 90 and bought the Sp-1 printer for my girlfriend, I can say they are both very funny to use, very light and relatively small for an instant camera. I wish fuji could release a black and white film now that the stocks of FP-3000 are almost over.

Nice to see a growth in instant film market. I have sadly abandoned buying fuji after they had discontinued production of Polaroid type instant film which made my older Polaroids practically useless. They lost many costumers then as I remember.

I was just speaking with a guy at K&M Camera and he said "Fuji doesn't give a crap about it's customers" (this is in reference to the FP3000 being discontinued).

I am really intrigued by this. I think it's unreasonable to be legitimately angry at Fuji for discontinuing a product. After all, it's a business. I'd rather them discontinue one product so they can continue to produce others rather than go bankrupt.

Plus, this opens up opportunities for other companies. Like New55. Soon you'll be able to use those Polaroid 545 holders 🙂

I don't know what is the general use for them, but where I live (somewhere in South America) it is becoming very common to see weddings where either instant or disposable cameras are put at each table so the guests take their own pictures which also go to the big book. When instant is used someone likes to peel the image and transfer to cardboards on which also comments and wishes are written, others just process the usual way but still ask the guests to write comments on the pictures.
