I initially had problem remembering the name as there were several other confusing names out there just announced then. GX1, G1X, X1, XZ1, X-Pro1. And because The previous Fuji X series were X10 and X100, I thought this was one X1 Pro.

It IS a pain, as the correct name is difficult to recall exactly, and that screws up searches.
Is it Fuji Pro-x1 ?, x1-Pro ? Fujifilm Prox-1, etc,etc.

Fuji have been using "Pro" in their nomenclature for a long time. The full name of my comparatively old dSLR is "Fujifilm S5 Pro".

At least give them credit for having (and keeping) "film" in the company name.

Of course not. We just look at it and imagine we're pros taking amazing photos. I don't even know if mine works. I guess I should turn it on and see.
