The most “wishful” LTM lens I have ever seen! You are so lucky to have found what looks like a perfect example.🙂

Beautiful lens and images! I've noticed some variants of this lens have a "C" (for Contax) and others have "N" (for Nikon). I'm assuming that means they are specifically calibrated for each system? Out of curiosity, is your sample inscribed with an "N"? Cheers!

When I said earlier, the most "wishful" LTM lens, I meant also in N or C mount, which must be even rarer than
the lens for Leica? I have seen these going at times for up to $20,000. Just a tad bit expensive for my pocket,
but still has to be a once in a lifetime find! I have a Fujinon 3.5CM/F2 in LTM but it doesn't hold a candle to this
one in rarity or value. The 10CM/F2 is also a beautiful lens but I found after owning a Canon and Sanyo Komura
of the same focal length, they were too heavy to use for me on my RF bodies. I think for me, 8.5CM is the limit.

From what I know Fujinon LTM lenses have 500xxx serial number range whereas Nikon S mount and Contax mount have 260xxx serial number range. Yes, I believe N or C versions are rarer than LTM version. When I said earlier, the most "wishful" LTM lens, I meant also in N or C mount, which must be even rarer than
