Having just had a look at the report and can see why you came to that conclusion, ones initial perception is that the comparison files from the Olympus, Pentax and for a third file I choose the Canon 5diii, are sharper and more detailed.
However once you spend a little time looking at the different areas of the test scene you realise that a lot of the perceived sharpness is actually just more contrast, and further, the way the detail is rendered is much subtler, and to my eye, much more natural and less digital like than the comparison files.
Different areas of the scene show strengths and weakness in all the files, so the default point is the coins on the bottle print which doesn't look so good, but try the the bottom of the Kodak colour card, the grey scale by the yellow feathers. Not only are the feathers better but the grey scale doesn't have blotches of the others.
In general though i'm far less interested in 100% views than I am of the overall look of a file, I'm currently working on a wedding where I took a handful of shots with the X100 without flash in an artificially lit room. I took the same scene with Canon 5d iii's with and without flash and no matter what i can't get the Canon colour balance as pleasing as the Fuji files, particularly skin tones. Actually I'm really beginning to hate Canon colours.

Nothing wrong with that. You figured it out from experience.![]()
One thing you can always depend upon is that any impression or opinion I have of a camera comes from first hand use. I rarely even read reviews, never mind quote them. If I reference other people's opinions, I usually name the source. ;-)
This is one reason why I buy (and sell) so many cameras... :-\

Would I buy a FF digital from Fuji? In a heartbeat. Would I keep it? it depends.
