Rangefinder 35
Well-known
I have been scanning ny 35mm transparencies mounted in plastic pin registered mounts without any film curvature. However, even though the mounts I'm using are "full frame" they eat into the image a bit, perhaps 1 mm on each side. Does anybody know a brand that's almost spocket holes to sprocket holes? It would have to be able to re-mount for reuse...

I do mine on a V500 flatbed: just lay them on the glass. I get full frame.
EDIT
Sorry, I misunderstood your post. Yes, mounts do eat up some of the transparency.

Have you tried the Wess-Mount full frame plastic mounts? They are the black ones. The anti-Newton peg mount is AAA 500K. The glassless peg mount version is AAX 500K. I find them on ebay, and there is still a seller for new ones online.
