Fun with the Hasselblad 907x

I sold my CFV50C back in April in anticipation of this new back so my alerts on B&H went off last night and I snagged a 907X kit, two spare batteries, the remote release and the charging cradle. I can’t wait to get back in the V system digital back game, I miss those amazing tones and colors!

Excellent! Enjoy it! Post photos! :)
A lovely portrait, Vince! :)

I hope to get out with a 180mm lens on the 907x on Sunday for some shooting time...

Lovely interplay of sunlight on the Fall colors of these leaves. :)

LOL! Very cool! That should work pretty nicely! :)

Actually it feels great and the thumb-actuated shutter release lever works perfectly. Only thing was that I had to sacrifice one Hasselblad TIHNC pistol grip to see if the darned concept was even going to work.

Hmm think I should sell the idea to Hasselblad?

Or just go into manufacture by yourself. :)
I like the morning photo too...

I usually go for long tonal scales and subdued color palettes, but I made this exposure — it just called to me for a harder-edged, more explosive rendering technique. So I remembered the Kodalith images done in the 1970s and thought, I wonder if it might work...

That could have been the cover for the follow-up album to Hotel California :)

Not seeing it as a video - when I click on the image I just get a second Flickr window with the single JPEG image. Clicking on the YouTube link takes me to the main YouTube page. Something I'm not doing right?
