The rear of the front element of my 50mm has fungus on it but I can't get the front lens group apart to get at the rear surface. Any ideas?
Here's the fungus (if you're interested)...
Here's the front lens group. There are slots in the front ring which makes it look like it should unscrew but I can't move it (I do have a proper wrench).
Here's the back of the lens group. I can't see how this might come apart but if it does, it might give me access.
So, anyone dismantled one of these before?

To answer my own question in case anyone else ever needs to know this. The front element is removable by unscrewing the ring surrounding it. It's just a b*****r to get off - or at least, mine was.
