Fungus Removal - How?

Of course after receiving my Yashica Auxiliary lens set and being astounded how clear the "telephoto" and finder were, the bit that I wanted to play with most, the "wide", has a few spots of fungus.

I reckon that dismantling it would not be too hard but if anyone can direct me to some instructions I would be happy.

What can I use to get rid of that pesky fungus? And yes, I know, if the glass has been etched by it nothing can be done but I thought it worth a look.

Any advice? Please.

Once open, Balsamic vinegar. Then clean with alcohol.

Balsamic?! wow. That's specific. Why is that better than plain old white vinegar?

Stronger. Nothing can live in it. The older the better.
