Fungus?

Does this look like lens fungus to you or what else could it be? Thanks

Lens separation. The balsam gluing lens elements is peeling apart. Small amounts have little or no impact but it can be an issue if it continues.

From the triangular pattern, I'd discount fungus. Separation of the element edge from the barrel is a possibility, especially if it's been dropped. Also could be corrosion from some invading lens cleaning fluid or condensation pooling on the front of the lens.

Just my 2 cents worth.
