I found one with a Rodenstock-Heligon 50mm f2 lens. I’ve looked but can’t find information where this lens was used on the Vitessa. Has anyone here heard of it used on this camera. The camera is at an antique store and has been for a while. I believe it is overpriced but I’m not sure how much to offer since I can’t find one with this lens as a reference. Also does the lens look to just be dirty or could it be fungus?

It is an early Vitessa - and Schneider and Rodenstock both made lenses that were used in this style shutter. I would suspect it is original. It is uncommon. Impossible to know of the lens is dirty, etched, or cement gone bad. If it has been at the shop for a while, let them know how much a cleaning cost for this camera, that the lens may need to be replaced, and give an offer. A CLA- expect $200 to $300, and it might need a new lens upping the cost.
What's it worth for a shelf piece, price accordingly.
