There are further very positive news for film photographers:

After their new CPP-3 film/paper processor introduced in 2012, Jobo is now further extending the product line with the new CPE-3 processor.
With the CPE-3 you can develop all processes:
E6, C41, RA-4, BW negative, BW transparancy.
Also all formats from 35mm, 120/220 up to 4x5" sheet film (with the Catlabs holder even 8x10").
Paper up to 30x40 centimeter can also be developed.
The CPE-3 cost less than half of the bigger CPP-3.

New kits for the 1500-tank series are also offered, giving a huge price advantage.

And furthermore Jobo made a very clear commitment to film and its future:
"Dear Customers, from now on we will inform you here on our Jobo analogue facebook-page not only about our current proven and coming new Jobo products. But we will also give you interesting and helpful information about general topics related to classic film-photography.There is a film-photography revival. And we from Jobo are convinced that film will not only have a safe future, but furthermore will gain greater importance in the coming years. We have made our decision: We invest in the photographic medium film!"

Got a little interested in Bergger film in 35 mm again. Freestyle and B&H out of stock until Dec 31. How can you wait 4 months for a roll of film?

Will not join Facebook for many reasons so I will not get the new messages. Just noticed Jobo has a site.

Darkroom is reopening after a long shutdown except for developing a few rolls.

I MISS PRINTS. Sure I know how to get digital prints, really nice pro ones, but I miss the PROCESS.

Bergger is not manufacturing themselves. They are dependent on real producers who are producing for them (Ilford, Filmotec, Inoviscoat).
But whether this shortage is caused by the manufacturers, or by sellers like Freestyle and B&H, I don't know.
But I know that currently in some cases (other companies) shortages are caused by higher demand than expected.

You don't have to join. It is a public Facebook site, you can read all Jobo news just like on any other website, too.

Make your own darkroom and enjoy printing. I am doing it and loving the process, too.
