All tiresome quibbles, these comparisons, I've concluded. And I've concluded this after
years of obsessing over them like everyone else. Now I don't even bother. They're silly.
It's APS-C or Full Frame - in general "sensor size"
Then it's "lens selection"
Then it's form factor.
The rest is determined by how much you want to spend for your kit.
IQ - relative quibbles in the digital age. JPEG rendering is altered to taste in post. All are good, on-par with each other. Same with RAW. Pixel peeping is madness. I think it's literally akin to OCD. And I DID say LITERALLY and I meant it.
I choose Nikon because:
1. Lens selection - tons to choose from all across the focal length and price spectrum both Nikkors and 3rd-party.
2. Excellent metering
3. Best flash system
4. Value proposition of entry-level DSLR bodies.
